If you haven't heard yet, Mercer's Dairy of Boonville, NY has been making premium ice creams since 1956. In June 2007 at the Great American Dessert Expo in Atlanta, GA, Mercer's debuted their unprecedented dessert, Mercer's Wine Ice Cream. They left with the award for "Best New Product." Mercer's Wine Ice Cream is currently available in 6 varietals: Ala Port, Cherry Merlot, Chocolate Cabernet, Peach White Zinfandel, Red Raspberry Chardonnay & Royal White Riesling. These are premium ice creams with up to 5% alcohol by volume. Mercer's Wine Ice Cream is for adults only - you must be 21 years of age or older to enjoy. My friends in California are trying to get the wine ice cream locally, you've gone international, what does it take to get it to the west coast?

We spend our summers up at the 1000 islands at TIP and my whole family makes sure we keep Mercers ice cream in stock, if we run out someone makes a run to the corner store for more! Its amazing we love it and its one of the reasons we love summer at the river.! Cant wait to see you in Canandaigua this summer and to try the wine ice cream, I am telling all my friends and client about it too ! Congrats Mercers,
